Salato

Bobcat Exhibit Renovation at Salato!

One of the staples of the Salato Wildlife Education Center is the bobcat exhibit. The two wildcats Salato has on display are a major attraction to their visitors, and they deserve an equally attractive exhibit and living space. In the past, the exhibit had a small stream running through it with a pond at the end; recently, it has just been a pond and a dried up stream due to a few complications.

New Salato Wildlife Education Center Exhibit

The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation built a new exhibit at the Salato Wildlife Education center! Visit the Salato Center and explore the new Be Bear Aware exhibit! The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation is financially involved in three conservation camps in the State of Kentucky, Camp Robert C. Webb on Grayson Lake, Camp Earl Wallace on Lake Cumberland and Camp John Currie on Kentucky Lake.
